“Free figuration consists of expressing through line drawings, spots, textures, cuts in a casual way. We can interpret or start from sounds, rhythms, emotions, go testing with materials or tools that allow greater ease in the strokes. I use these types of annotations when trying to break the monotony in my work. Sometimes, while taking a break between projects, I start to imagine what form a piece of music, a memory, a smell, a feeling can have. This is another way of observing, but starting from the interior and from the non-figurative interpretation. ”
