“Everything you see in the beginning is just bigger shapes, right? That's the architecture of the portrait. When you have those bigger shapes, you're able to build the smaller shapes, which are these facial features. And you notice that I did not go into shades and highlights, you know, some of the stuff that brings the face out. I think that you need to have solid foundation for the face before you do that. Sometimes, you know, like in the past, I would just go ahead and start rendering everything, adding shades and highlights and stuff like that, but I didn't have my foundation solid. So a...”
