I learned so much from this course! I love Marcos’ humble, warm, clear teaching style.

Marcos is an excellent teacher with a soft voice and speaks with intention and to the point. I liked to see his process to address planning out work from text to sketch to final drawing to help those of us who are generally unorganized see a linear work in progress. Also helpful for those who dont quite understand color theory or are afraid of it or a beginner unsure of how to use perspective in their work. His work has great balance and is pleasing to the eye.

It was so interesting to see Marcos Chin's process through this project, and hear his little tid-bits of wisdom. Great insight into how colour sets a mood, and easy ways to plan a colour palette. He explained really clearly how he analyzes a text in preparation for his thumbnails, which I found really valuable. I appreciated the feedback I received, and loved working through the final project. Fun class!

I learned a new perspective that I can use in my own pieces and style.

What a well explained class and the patience, wow! Wish this course would be longer, so much knowledge and feel more confident how to look at colour and why the colours are being used. Thank you!

As a professional illustrator, I took this course to discover new points of view and methods on the process of creation of an illustration. It's a very good course for beginners, well focused on techniques between software and paper. Marcos is nice and generous and I appreciated a lot his introduction, because he cares to let you know that this job is possible for everyone who wants to do it, above social classes.
