Self-Portrait as a Personal Diary
“We have reached the end of this road. I hope you liked my point of view when doing this type of photography. It is very important to me that you understand that this course is made to inspire and to show other ways of taking photography in intimate life. Each one will find their way and the language that works best for them, my way is just one example of how to get results that have worked very well for me so far. However, as these are very personal projects, each one must find their way. Trial and error to arrive at the ideal solution! Remember that to take photos of this style, you must be very connected with yourself and with what motivates you to take this type of photography. For this it is good that you write texts about your motives and feelings. It is also important to understand that it is a process of trial and error, you must try many things before you find your way to represent yourself. There are always at least 3 elements that must be working in harmony for the photo to work: space, light and acting. I have a very specific way of taking my self-portraits, I take them in time, in trips and situations that inspire me, but this does not mean that you should do it that way. You can create situations in more controlled environments, recreate specific and acted scenes, use artificial lighting, costumes or whatever your imagination takes you. Now is your time, share your final project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project". Remember to share both the final result of your photos and the steps that have led you to them. We are going to review the key phases of the project. It would be great if you showed me a picture of each phase and added a brief explanation about what you have done in each one. Inspiration and concept Answer the key questions about what you want to tell, so you will have clearer your ideas and what you want to convey in your photos. Next, make your mood board for reference. In my case I made a general one, one for the location, one for lighting and another for manual intervention.

Before saying goodbye, I'd like to summarize all the steps we took to make our project. From them, we learned there are different paths to take to carry out a project. You've learned the key questions to ask yourself before starting your project. We saw how to organize references using a mood board and how to use the mate...”
