About the final project for: Illustration Techniques for Children’s Books

Narrative Illustration with Mixed Media

“We have reached the end of the course. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed doing it for you. Below, I share some steps of the process of creating one of the three images that we developed during the course:

I invite you to do your project and share it to know it, the objective is not only to make three complete images, you can take it to a story that perhaps can be turned into an illustrated book or this series you can send to an international contest illustration. It can also be part of your professional portfolio. There are a lot of options, what interests me is being able to accompany you in this process. Here I share the result of the work we have done during the course: a narrative illustration made up of a series of three final images.
It has been a pleasure for me to share this space with you and to be able to talk about what I like the most: drawing. I hope my work process helps you find new tools to experiment with, integrate them into your process, or encourage you to seek personal style in your projects. Remember that one of the most important things is that you enjoy yourself, that you have a good time working. Sure we will be seeing each other in the forum and I will try to be aware of how your project is going. And if you have any questions, I will be happy to answer. I only ask for a little patience when receiving the answer, because it is important to me to attend each student carefully. I also invite you to give opinions about the work of your colleagues, because this will always enrich the process of each one. In truth, this space is yours and feel free to ask any questions that arise. I will be on the other side happy to respond. See you soon! ”
