“Parts of a drone and maintenance In this lesson I am going to talk about the parts of a drone and how to carry out its correct maintenance. In this case I will use a slightly old drone, Phantom 1, to explain its parts to you, and then I'll finish with a Phantom 4. First I will talk about the engines, one of the most important parts. The drone motors are "brushless" type. They are motors that work by magnets, there are some small coils, like these in here, of copper wire, which are activated or deactivated, they are charged with electricity to magnetize these little magnets that we see here....”
