“PORTRAIT OF A PROFILE COMBINING TECHNIQUES Now I'll add strokes with watercolour pencils. The pencil tip softens with the moisture the stroke is more intense, you don't have to wait for the paper to dry. When I added the watercolour pencil, there were some dry areas and others were wet. In the dry ones I created a new stain. I added water to dissolve them. Now I've set out the light areas, shadows, the colour of the portrait. Lastly, I'll add touches with the ink-filled brush.
