“VISUAL DESIGN Typographic Composition Typesetting is a fundamental element of visual design. This is where we’ll start working with that. Let me show you how. Fonts come in several families and styles. And obviously, you have two major groups. Typefaces with a flourish, or serif, and typefaces without any of those, or sans-serif. They can be more traditional or more modern, depending on the serif. Serif types can be thicker or thinner. They can be more fitting to be used for text body or bigger titles.
