Corina Burlacu

Hi, I am Corina, I was born and raised in a lovely, small Romanian town and I am living in The Hague (NL) since 2009. I studied Journalism in Bucharest but by (happy) circumstances I switched to film production and become a short film executive producer. As I moved to the Netherlands, I then worked as a film programer and creative producer in the Dutch cultural sector for about 10 years. As of 2020, Due to the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the cultural sector, I’ve reconsidered my options and decided to start a new path. That's how, at 41 years old, I started studying ceramics and pottery.
At this stage I am an assistant teacher at a pottery art school in The Hague and I am working my way to opening my own studio.
Several Domestika courses have been of tremendous help in my process and I totally recommend this platform to anyone.
