I am more of an author than an artist but I've been enjoying your work via Facebook for Quite Some Time now and when this course came up and I heard your modest intelligent voice on the intro video I couldn't resist treating myself to this creative endeavour.
I put one of my recent novels as my cover photo... (I designed the cover concepts, but had help from two artists executing it). One of the novels I am working on now is placed in early medieval Cornwall (aka Dumnonia) and the hero lives in an abandoned Roman villa, with of course amazing mosaic floors. I have tried to draw a mosaic of the two dragons, as a start for my cover idea... but I'm not sure they're quite right yet. These things seem to take me ages to mull over but it's a delight to let them ferment. Anyway, your course just now seems like a very delicious treat to myself, and that's why I am here. Thank you for putting it together. I love that your lessons are coming from your own real process of putting it all together and not just regurgitating what others have done. It's precious that you've shared your knowledge here.
