Shirlee McPherson

I have always been interested in arts and crafts. Growing up I shared the same passion with my two sisters creating our own games, building cubby houses, making dolls clothes and furniture to mention a few. Partially retired now I have time to rekindle some of those interests. After joining an art group I painted trying a variety of techniques and different mediums. Settling with oils and acrylics I copied old masters, family photographs and portraits until after 6 years I needed a break and discovered wildlife illustration for childrens books and the puppetry stop motion courses. I love the way I can learn at my own pace, share with others and admire what they have created.
