I started spoon carving a year or so ago and I am an autodidact that is why I am here to better learn and acquire the right skills to improve my spoon carving. I am looking forward to improving my skills and learn proper techniques. One aspect of what I believe most of my previous spoon project did not always come out right is the way I prepare the raw shapes with an axe and how I select the woods.

So here I am trying to learn :-)
