I make my living in the analytical technical world of Oracle Technology, for the last 25 years. Very left brain stuff - troubleshooting and solving technical issues with Oracle databases. Nothing very creative there. As a kid I loved Art and was obsessed with making marks on paper, every book my mom owned I would ripe out the blank pages and draw or write short stories on them. After entering the work force at 15 I did not draw again until age 50. I am drawn to watercolor and Ink (Bold and Pops of colors) and I inspire to sit outside (anywhere even in my kayak) and draw and watercolor paint what I see. I am very much still a struggling beginner and looking to grow my skills to the next level . To date all my art is on small 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 watercolor cards that I give away to friends and family. My gift is determination, not creativity or natural talent. I have to work hard and practice almost daily. I feel my style may be loose urban/rural sketch line and wash or watercolor sunsets.
