At the age of 10 years old I got the opportunity to get to know my Dad and my step mother. My step mother is a wonderful woman. She also worked full time, took care of me and would work on stained glass almost every day. Truly an amazing women. I got to grow up in an antique home with stained glass in every window and all around the house. I didn't care for having a window in my bedroom door but wouldn't give up the beauty that was all around me. When I went to live with my mom again I was forced to give up stained glass. As an adult I got back into making stained glass to help me cope with a brain swelling issues. As a kid my step mom helped with all but one of the projects I made so it is wonderful to 100% make my own stained glass projects. I will always love and adore my amazing step mom. I am forever grateful to have had a stable home with her.
