That’s my story: Working in the textile industry over ten years as journalist, trends scout, fashion and textile/graphics designer in NY and Germany with my last position in the design department at Esprit in Germany, I decided to recharge my batteries traveling through Europe. I enjoyed it, but strokes of fate happened and after moving to Portugal going for the sustainable fashion industry and living at the ocean, I lost my most loved favorite human forever and later on I had also a miscarriage of my already beloved baby. My world crashed forever. Already being back to Germany in January in a completely broken condition, short after, the Corona COVID 19 kicked in. Couldn’t be worst struggling with depression, so I used the year of the Pandemie burnout of Mother Earth, to find back to life somehow. The only thing I found any joy doing, was my tattoo machine. I started practicing again what I once began already in 2011 with coil machines and had stopped for years. The last year just rushed by in a blink. I am still a beginner, but I didn’t give up. I also invested my little power and money and bought my first pen machine. Also found a tattoo course on domestica, which gives me so much joy. Always working in fashion and art I also started an art project with kinky embroidery, which turned out successful. Life is showing me that I am meant to be artist in many ways and to focus on my passion profession of illustration and art. Alltogether helps a big step back up to a colorful, joyful life!
