Malwina Małecka

Hi! I'm Malwina from Poland. I enjoy long walks in nature, a cup of coffee sipped in a hidden cafe or watching fantasy and adventure movies in the evenings. I also like to read psychological articles and take landscape pictures. Lately I'm embracing the artistic, romantic, melancholic side of me that got almost completely lost on the way. I stopped drawing when I started becoming an adult. I hid my sensitivity and rationalised my every decision, including educational and career choices. Now my true nature comes out. I'm a mom of a sweet, little boy. Arrival of my son reminded me of my childhood books. Books, movies and music were always a hideaway place for me. Nowadays there is a wonderful variety of children's literature. I really enjoy it together with my son. I realised that I clearly think in pictures. My head is full of them, even when I sleep. Drawing is a great way to express myself. I feel entertained both by using traditional methods, when my hands can get dirty, and digital illustrating. I'm learning that what I create doesn’t have to be perfect. I'm having fun and looking forward to see, what new discoveries drawing might bring.
