Catarina Sobral (@catarina_sobral) is a Portuguese illustrator and author of children's picture books. She knows the secrets to telling an unforgettable story, capturing the reader's attention, and encouraging them to reflect on some of the most interesting moments in their lives.

After studying graphic design, Catarina obtained a degree in illustration and began publishing children's books while working as a freelance illustrator. Although she uses many techniques, she prefers to work with a limited color palette while mixing textures and patterns in rich two-dimensional images.
Her illustrations make regular appearances in the world of publishing, featuring on album covers and posters as well as in books and animations. Catarina has illustrated 13 children's books, which have been published in 15 different languages.
