Watch this video tutorial and learn essential shortcuts for working with the most widely-used program for editing video
Adobe Premiere Pro was released in 1991 and, 30 years later, remains one of the most widely-used programs in the audiovisual sector. As well as offering a wide range of features and boasting an intuitive interface, its time-line based editing system has revolutionized the way we make videos and improved workflow with options to add multimedia resources, soundtracks, and much more.
Alex Hall (@alexhallfilm) is a video-maker, editor, photographer, and director of photography for the talk show Berlin After Dark. For over a decade, Premiere Pro has been Alex’s go-to program for editing footage.

Alex began his career in video and photography in 2008, but it was in 2011 when things took a turn. That year, Alex documented the Occupy Wall Street protests taking place in New York, going behind the scenes and getting his first taste of audiovisual journalism.
What had started out as a hobby turned into a career opportunity as Alex began working with an interesting mix of clients. He worked on different types of projects, from corporate commercials to more artistic work such as a documentary about Budapest and a music video for Albanian musician, KOKA.
