Leire is a photographer and crochet specialist who brings colorful and characterful designs to life with just a needle and thread. This project is deeply personal for Leire, created in memory of her mother, who died of breast cancer at a very young age. Leire notes the importance of self-examination and of regular medical check-ups and screenings: steps that literally save lives.
