Free Tutorial: How To Draw a Unicorn

Steps

1. Construction

Sketch the major shapes of the unicorn, which are shown in the picture below and represented in the colors blue, yellow, green, and red!

2. The Unicorns Mane

Following the red strokes shown on the photo below you can establish the basic shape and flow of the unicorn's mane. Once that is completed you can lightly sketch more detailed individual strands of hair, following the natural curves you have already outlined.

Pay special attention to the direction of the hair as it cascades down the unicorn's neck and back, appearing organic and naturally flowing!

3. Accessories & Embellishments

Finally, use your imagination and add whatever you would like! Flowers, sparkling gems, braids; these can all enhance the look and magical allure of your unicorn drawing!
