Beetroot Design Group is an award-winning visual communication and graphic design agency that provides high-quality creative solutions to a broad international clientele. We research, develop and realize distinctive visual identities for companies, services, and products, and communicate them in ways that render them entirely unique and highly recognizable. Our work is distinguished by its versatile style and creative breadth; every proposal is original, authentic, and designed exclusively within the context of each commission.
Beetroot was founded in 2000 by Vagelis Liakos, Alexis Nikou and Yiannis Charalampopoulos. Today, the team includes 20 creative professionals who cover a wide spectrum of skills in the broad sector of contemporary design, including: visual communication and graphic design, 3D design and animation, new media and applications, photography, videography, set decoration and production design, sound design, etc., with extensive experience working on local and international projects.
In its 20+ years, Beetroot’s work is consistently recognized and celebrated in prestigious international events, earning awards and distinctions that include the Grand EBGE/Agency of the Year award at the Greek Visual Communication Design Awards 8 times between 2006 and 2022; ADC*E (Art Directors Club of Europe) Gold Awards most recently in 2018 and 2020; Design Agency of the Year at the Ermis Awards 5 times, most recently in 2021; the prestigious Red Dot Design Agency of the Year Award for Best Visual Communication Agency internationally in 2011 plus several Best of the Best awards since; the Design Agency of the Year distinction at the European Design Awards in 2008; and several distinctions each year at the D&AD, Dieline and Pentawards.
