Matt Peters

I have worked at the University of Arizona Health Sciences (UAHS) since 2004, serving in a variety of administrative and research coordinator roles. From 2004 to 2008, I was part of a research team at the Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH), where I supported NIH and SAMHSA grants that targeted health disparities among urban Native Americans. In 2008, I joined MEZCOPH’s Network for Information Counseling as an intake counselor and referral coordinator for ASHLine. Since 2010, I have worked for UAHS Administration, where I've handled everything from managing a room scheduling office to serving on the UAHS Strategic Planning Advisory Committee (S-PAC). I began working for Health Sciences Design in 2020 to focus my efforts on one of the S-PAC’s key initiatives: an innovation ecosystem that engages students in design solutions to health care challenges.
