YIANOULA KAPLANI

My name is Annie Kaplani and my country of origin is Cyprus. I come from an occupied village of the northern part of Cyprus. Since the Turkish invasion (1974) -as we were expatriated- I’ve been living in Greece, where I studied Archaeology, working at the same time in a Museum. After then, I pursued further studies in Social Anthropology at Oxford University. At the Museum I worked on several research matters, cultural projects, and presentations of exhibitions, educational programs, editing of researches, etc. I love reading literature and poetry and I also write poems. Recently I followed a 2 monthly course on creative writing. Al I wrote is in the Greek language.
