Anita Benson

I am an artist with a keen interest in children's literature. Quetions that move me are: how do children connect to the world? How can artists connect people to the world and to each other? In picture books, these two questions come together. I want to use aspects of storytelling in my illustration, like perspective, mood, setting changes and so on. I am also interested in how best to present animals, not personified and not as human characters, in picture books.
