Hi! My name is Aheneah. I’m an artist currently based in Lisbon, Portugal.
I developed my textile skills in sewing, embroidery, and crochet from a young age by watching my grandmothers. However, when I started studying graphic design, I saw these crafts from a different perspective. Since then, I decided to explore traditional techniques' potential, and my artistic journey turned into an exploration of connections between digital and analog mediums. Seeking to deconstruct, transform and recover traditional knowledge and adapt it to the current days.
I’ve had the pleasure to be part of street art festivals around Europe, such as Urban Week Paris, The Crystal Ship, and Rio Loco (to name a few). Regarding brands, one of the most memorable was my collaboration with TOUS.
I truly believe that sharing your knowledge is the key to keeping traditional techniques alive, and inspiring others to be disruptive and break boundaries!
