I am retired and just on the last leg of an Open University BSc degree in Earth Sciences. I have spent a few periods of time sketching but feel I have not really progressed. I would love to be able to use pen and ink and water colour for plants animals and insects and anything natural. I have also tried nature scenes in acrylics, but I would like to progress to illustrating with pen, ink and water colour. I need to learn how to manage one pen stroke and small strokes for shading. I have used pencil mainly before.
