Ne'ha

Hi, my name is Ne'ha/Elena, I'm 38 years old and I'm Italian.
I draw ever since I can remember. My grandfather was an eclectic and creative man, and among the many things he was a painter, too. I've learned so much from him <3

Unfortunately my father died when I was 9, and mostly due to this making peace with creativity has been tough for most of my life. I often used it to escape a reality I did not like, and it took me quite some time to separate it from pain.
Drawing mainly fanarts in the last 3, 4 years has helped me immensely on this journey. Stories can do miracles sometimes - stripping art of sadness and dressing it up again with joy, lightness, passion and love.

Finally I think I'm ready to produce more originals :) I really do hope that they can grow in number quickly and become more and more sincere: tiny shrines of what I feel, dialogues of lights, colours and emotions between the viewer and me.

I studied art in college and then, following the path of communication, I graduated in Cinema, Theatre and New Media in Milan, Italy, where I currently live. I have been working as a video editor in the audiovisual industry for more than ten years now, and sometimes I also write and do voiceovers.

I love every form of art, travelling, clouds and starry skies. With this course & others that I bought I hope to learn a lot about pictorial style, the use of light and to develop the ability to tell a story with a single illustration <3
