I loved this course! Never used charcoal before, Sarah explained all about it and in a month I was able to draw quite realistic portrait. I love Sarah's teaching and I cannot wait to start her other courses.

Sarah did an amazing job! I love that she went over the different types of charcoal and how they reflect different values. She spent time on composition, values, and use of materials! It is a really great course for both beginners as well as advanced artists.

I have been drawing as long as I can remember. I drew on any scrap of paper, I even my jeans, but I want to learn greater skills. This is a perfect course for me.

This was informative and easy to follow. A great way to learn because you can pause or rewind to review something you want to see again or something you didn't understand the first time. I learned a great deal about shading and highlighting from this course. Would highly recommend!

When I started this course I could barely draw a straight line and Sarah brought it down to my level in bite size chunks so I actually was able to draw the model and my friend’s puppy too. Thanks so much! Hope you do one on oil painting one day!
