Cinema moves us, inspires us, and leaves behind frames that live in our memory. In this contest, we invite you to pick a film that marked you and redesign its poster in your own style—turning key art into your art.

Your approach is wide open: a respectful homage to the original one-sheet, a minimalist teaser, an abstract reinterpretation, or a bold experimental take. What matters is how your personal vision of the movie comes through in composition, color, typography, and imagery.

Love taglines, type hierarchies, and iconic visuals? Share your creative process with a step-by-step tutorial that shows how your poster evolves—from thumbnails and mood boards to layout, color tests, and the final lockup.

We welcome designers, illustrators, photographers, 3D artists, and cinephiles of every kind—working by hand or on screen. Your perspective can spark someone else’s next great idea.

1️⃣ The Poster
Pick a movie that inspires you and redesign its poster. Any medium works—illustration, collage, photography, 3D, or graphic design. Go classic one-sheet, minimalist teaser, or a bold reimagining.

2️⃣ Concept
Add a short note (1–3 lines) about your angle: why this film, which mood or theme you’re highlighting, and the story your poster should tell at a glance.

3️⃣ Creative Process
Show at least two key steps: thumbnail sketches, reference/mood boards, composition and hierarchy tests, typography trials, color variations, lighting setups, or 3D block-outs. Each step should include one image plus a brief caption so others can follow how your poster evolved.

4️⃣ Final Piece
Publish the finished poster as your last step. Include the title and, if you like, a billing block/tagline. Bonus: show a mockup in context (cinema wall, bus stop, streaming app) to sell the idea.

5️⃣ Tools & Materials
Tell us what you used: pencils, markers, camera, watercolor/ink, or digital tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Affinity, Blender, etc. If you used textures or stock assets, mention those too.

6️⃣ Creative Tip
Start with a one-line logline, pick a strong focal point, and test readability at thumbnail size. Keep a tight color palette, let typography lead the eye, and use contrast to set the tone.

The winning entries will be those that transform cinematic inspiration into a striking, original piece—showing not only design talent but also a true understanding of storytelling through images.
