We are Ashlee and Amanda, besties in business and in real life! We both came to London from Australia and NZ over a decade ago and have set up 6 profitable craft businesses between us in that time, encompassing crafts, events, courses and e-commerce. We both started out as passionate makers with no more than £50 in our wallets and now run 6-figure businesses, we know all about hustling your way to the top as a crafter and the many routes you can go down to get there!
Ashlee is the founder of Sparklebutt London, an e-commerce clothing label and also works as a business coach, helping clients launch and grow their businesses. Amanda is the founder of I Can Make Shoes, a shoe making school with classes taught in London, New York and online. She also runs Make House Publishing, an independent publishing house for crafters and is a start-up mentor for the British Library.
Together we run The Business Craft, online courses and coaching which help crafters and makers turn their hobbies into profitable businesses.
