Geonna Snyder

Hello all! I am Geonna Snyder or the theatge. I am a multi media artist who specializes in SFX makeup. I started doing special effects makeup in 2014 for an independent film company, I took a break for a couple of years and went back to it in 2017. I graduated from college in 2017 with my associates and applied sciences related to funeral home work. The restorative arts portion of my classes got me back into special effects make up. A lot of what I have learned has come from medical books along with also restorative arts based books. Since just around 2019, I started posting special effects, makeup tutorials, online mixed in with DIY content and educational content related to medical terminology shown with special effects makeup.

My favorite part about special effects makeup is the fact that I can be anyone or anything that I want to for a certain period of time then I get to take off the make up and create something new. There's something so human about creating artwork that you can both live, breathe, and also destroy. I hope that you enjoy my lessons on here get creative and shape-shift into something fun and new.
