Susan Strickland

I’m a Geographer, mushroom expert, expert in wild edible plants, climbing instructor and a cook. I’m fascinated and inspired by nature. I live in the woods and I fell a great need for being among plants and trees. I feel a need for creating from time to time and I have been involved in many different types of creative work. I’ve done a lot of metal sculptures, ceramics, carpentry and I also make baskets from natural fibers. I was exposed to knitting when I was a child by both of my grandmothers but I haven’t practiced it for ages. I’m really eager to do this again.
