Steve Libbey

I've been a digital designer since 1991, but I have become interested in physical art in the last several years. It's a soothing retreat from the screen. My influences are illustrators like Ralph Steadman, Bill Sienkiewicz, , Daniel Mroz, Richard M. Powers -- artists who have worked on science fiction or other outlandish illustration, and have a messy, surreal quality to their work. I also inhabit that space as a musician (my username is my band name), so often I draw or paint with the idea of the final result being an album cover.
