When I started working on my final project, I decided to take inspiration from Jorsh Peña's work. I realized that he sometimes uses a flatter perspective, without neglecting the lights and shadows that give it a more three-dimensional view.
For my project I also wanted to include my love for my culture, that's why I created my vision of what a race based on three Mayan figures would be like: the Kab (the mortal race), the Bacabs (the celestials) and Xibalba (those of the underworld).
Finally, I added my love for photography, so I posed them like they were taken out of a Polaroid-style photograph.
