Igor Ventura

Igor Ventura começou a pintar e desenhar ainda jovem, mas foi um presente de Natal de sua esposa em 2007 que o apresentou aos designer toys. No início era apenas um colecionador, mas logo começou a aventurar-se em customizações das duplicatas que tinha. Conheceu seu amigo Sergio Mancini em 2009, e juntos fundaram o Red Mutuca Studios, um coletivo de artistas de designer toys com integrantes do mundo todo. Conhecido por suas soluções criativas, conceito inovadores e execuções primorosas, cada membro do grupo possui seu próprio estilo.
Sempre interessado em encontrar novos caminhos para exercitar seus dotes criativos e artísticos, Ventura rapidamente adotou o toy Dunny da Kidrobot como uma tela em branco, pintando à mão versões únicas e extremamente limitadas de seus conceitos. Em 2010, Ventura ganhou atenção internacional ao ser premiado com o 3º lugar no Concurso Munny Munth da Kidrobot, além de ser finalista no CE Planet Toy Global Contest I. Como sua reputação continuou a crescer, Ventura foi convidado a criar designs para toys fabricados por empresas como Aarting, Kidrobot, Dyzplastic, Artoyz e Martian Toys, embora ele nunca tenha parado de seguir sua paixão em customizar a mão designer toys comicamente inteligentes.

Igor Ventura has enjoyed drawing and painting from a young age, but it was a Christmas gift from his wife in 2007 that introduced him to designer toys. He started as a collector, but soon started to venture into customizing some of the duplicates he had. He met his fellow brazilian artist Sergio Mancini in 2009, and together they founded Red Mutuca Studios, an art toy collective of like-minded artists and designers from around the globe. Known for their creative solutions, innovative concepts, and talented executions, each member has developed their own unique aesthetic.
Always interested in finding new avenues to flex his creative, artistic muscles, Ventura quickly adopted Kidrobot's Dunny form as a canvas, hand-painting unique and extremely limited versions of his concepts. In 2010, Ventura gained international attention by being awarded 3rd place for the Grand Prize in that year's Munny Munth contest as well as being a finalist in the CE Planet Toy Global Contest I. As his reputation continued to grow, Ventura was invited to create factory-made designs for companies like Aarting, Kidrobot, Dyzplastic, Artoyz and Martian Toys, though he never stopped pursuing his passion of hand-crafting comically smart designer toy customs.
