Begin by learning who makes up Moruba and how it was formed, what has led them to do what they do, and above all, why.
Daniel and Javier explain how to design a wine label from start to finish. They use as an example the process followed in the redesign of a Pyrenees wine label, in whose image the figure of a horse traditionally appears as a metaphor for the indomitable and exuberant nature that, guided by the human hand, yields its best fruits.
Understand how a project lands, how to approach meeting with the client, and the process of visiting the winery to gather information. Learn about the creative process and designing sketches for the presentation to the client.
Once the sketch is approved, understand the keys to the photo shoot (with a horse included) and discover how the final art is prepared, as well as the technical side of the required materials and printing in order to bring the project to a successful conclusion.

Select a wine label in the supermarket that you think could use a change. Create a fictitious brief that argues for the change.
This course is for graphic, industrial, and product designers and anyone interested in wine who wants to delve into the world of wine labels.
You need a computer, internet, Photoshop, and Illustrator. In addition, if you need to produce an image for the label, a camera and lights are required to light a small photography set.

Excellent and comprehensive introduction to design for wine labelling - it was pitched at the right level for professional designers and that was right for me. I learned lots and the terminology and options for wine design are really useful. Highly recommended and good fun.
This is course was useful but I wish the translation was a little more clear.
Me interesa hacer este curso, se ve muy bueno!
