String Theories Fiber Design

I am a self-taught macrame artist, working in Nova Scotia Canada. Living by the ocean, my work is largely influenced by organic shapes, foliage, and driftwood. I have a degree in Aerospace Engineering which has greatly impacted my designs - transforming a one dimensional piece of rope into something three dimensional is one of my favourite aspects of macrame.

My goal is to break the mold of traditional macrame, to create shapes and forms that haven't been seen before. I'm so honoured to get to share my process/designs with the Domestika community!
