Lex Pott

Me, Lex Pott (1985) employ a raw and intuitive method. In my work,
I return to the origin of the materials I use most: wood, stone and metal. I do not hide my designs under indirect layers, but reduce them to their very essence. I work from my design studio based in Rotterdam. I graduated cum laude in 2009 at the
Design Academy Eindhoven.
In My studio I work on a variety of projects. From industrial to craft and from unique pieces to mass production.
My work is mainly driven by experiment and understanding materials. By working and trying out the boundaries or properties of a material I always try to combine form, function and fun into objects. In my studio I have a workshop with machines to experiment hands on. Thats what I like most. I have worked for various international labels and clients.
