While attending an art show, I fell in love with encaustic artwork by Marge Luttrell. I thought to myself, I have to learn how to do this! So in my late 50's, I found a local beginner class. I never considered myself an artist, yet now I am on a path to learn as much as possible. I love feminine imagery and energy, so much of my art is centered around women, but I lack skill in painting them. I have typically used photos from Unsplash and then have embellished them. So, from this class, I hope to learn additional skills to enhance my art and possibly be able to use photos as a guide
