I wrote a review, but cannot find it again - this is just the course I needed after many years of nonpractice. A slow and meditative approach and brilliant tutorials from Lapin. I hope to awaken my mind and seeing again. Perfect being able to view it again and again.

Fantastic course! I love that Lapin took a meditative approach to painting and sketching, and what is more beautiful than nature and plants! Highly recommended.

This course was very inspirational. I liked it a lot. There was good information about what you exactly need to draw and explore. What I also liked about this Domestica course is that you can watch it over and over, and every time I get another idea. It was very usefull for me.

As an absolute beginner (haven't drawn for years, never used watercolour before), I can recommend this course. Lapin builds up my skills in accessible lessons, watching him draw and paint really helped along with his commentary. The details of the materials he used were really helpful, as getting the 'right' equipment but that aren't very expensive made a big difference. I also liked that I could take my time doing the exercises and rewatched some of the videos.

Mi piace questo corso perché le spiegazioni sono semplici, ma molto efficaci, perché mi stimola all'osservazione, perché l'obiettivo è quello di far trovare a ciascun corsista un suo modo personale di guardare e rappresentare le piante, perché punta al percorso e non al risultato, perché per me è uno stimolo a provare e non mi sento giudicata se sbaglio.

Great course. The teacher was very good and very natural - wonderful acent. It was brilliant for making me take the time to look. My ability to see and draw, what I can see, has improved. It was well worth the time. Each day I tried to put into practice the ideas. BTW the music was fantastic - would be nice to know where I can get hold of it to listen to while drawing.

It was great to take time to observe and draw each botanical subject in a meditative frame of mind. I hung my Mixing Greens chart up for future reference. I enjoyed fulfilling each part of the course and finding plants from my own garden to add to my sketches which I have put into a folder. I did not make a print in the final lesson as I do not have the necessary computer skills but I like the idea of creating designs for decorating or fabrics.

The focus here is on the meditative approach rather than the technical skills. It's very soothing, and it's heartening to see another artist talk about their personal pandemic struggles and how they overcame.

Lapin's voice makes the meditative part of the course very effective, he's very calming and positive, which allows me to also sketch mindfully and with my own style. \

Highly recommended for beginners who are looking to understand how to sketch botany.

Although the drawing is quite well done, I was looking for more advanced watercolour techniques so this course really did not suit me. But I would recommend it for beginners and those wanting to loosen up.

This course really gets the meditative side of watercolour and ink across. The instructor himself is very calming and the subjects he paints are attractive and not overwhelming. I recommend.
