A hybrid drawing made from an earlier location sketch with Urban Sketchers Brisbane. I’ve included process images showing the transformation from a sketch to a finished work. Zoom in to read the explanatory text on each image. Because the building was built between 1928 & 1930, I’ve included some 1930s people, a 1929 Rolls Royce Phantom and a 1930 Model A Ford.

PS. The schoolgirls would have been my mother’s age in 1930. Mum died at the age of 99.5 in 2017.
