Jaguar

El jaguar es el tercer más grande felino. Es una constante en la mitología Maya y es una clave importante en la cosmogonía de América Latina. Recientemente, ha habido algunas amenazas a la especie, la pérdida del hábitat natural, la intolerancia por parte de los humanos y la caza furtiva, para nombrar algunos.

The Jaguar is the third largest feline. It is a constant in the Maya mythology and a key part of the Cosmogony in Latin America. Recently, there have been some threats to the species, habitat loss, human intolerance and poaching, to name some of them.
