My project for course: Expressive Animal Portraits in Watercolor

Thank You Sarah for another great course! The course was challenging but I did definitely improve from the cat exercise. I didn't do a background. I am having difficulty deciding whether to do backgrounds or not; and what to do? At my stage of learning I have been focusing more on the subject. I am thinking that creating some backgrounds for reference may help. I am happy with the final painting, which makes the course that much more enjoyable. Thanks again!
