I dried the paper, which was really wet as I glazed it all with a very wet brush. I didn't want to smudge all of the pigment.

In the end, I decided to add a few "classic" pencil lines, which added another beautiful texture layer to the image.

This is already the second part of my output from Adolfo Serra's course. What I really enjoyed is getting to know my pencils better. In this case: Albrecht Dürer by Faber Castell. I put the tip into water, then used the broad side of the tip to draw trees and them used a very wet brush to blur the pigment. Et voila: A whole dark forest comes to life! So happy with the texture and with having created something that is so unlike me... It's wild to explore new sides of my art. So many thanks to Adolfo for this excellent course!
