My project for course: Introduction to Clay Figurative Sculpture (Amor Vincit Omnia)

Here’s my first attempt for the course. I thought the overall content of their course and the tutor were excellent, concise and clear and thoroughly enjoyable.

Originally I intended to leave the piece unglazed, but after the bisque firing I thought it needed a glazed finish - this highlighted the two colours of slip, and the oxide I used to highlight the text.
