Making clothes to match my art!

Back in February 2019 I was invited to join the Varda Artist’s Residency on a beautiful wooden boat, just over the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. I spent the month expanding my sewing practice and being inspired by the other artists on the boat. This quilted wall hanging and matching gilet are two of my favourite creations from that time. I think you can tell from the look on my face!
