Arthur est habitué à ne pas être vu ; il peut parcourir les cités humaines avec son carnet et son stylo sans souci. C'est l'avantage d'être un fantôme pour Arthur, mais cela peut souvent rendre les autres monstres jaloux. Voyez-vous, les autres monstres sont visibles et ne peuvent donc pas souvent visiter les cités humaines ; ils ne sont autorisés à y aller qu'à la pleine lune, lors des festivals et à Halloween.
Arthur vit dans la cité des humains, comme la plupart des fantômes. Il est bien moins cher d'emménager dans une maison déjà meublée. De plus, étant une espèce plutôt introvertie, ils apprécient la compagnie humaine (ou son absence). Il faut parfois un certain temps pour s'habituer à être regardés et touchés lorsque les fantômes vivant avec les humains retournent à Hallow City. Voyez-vous, les monstres voient les fantômes aussi bien entre eux, parfois même plus distinctement.
Et c'est pourquoi Arthur, tellement habitué à ne pas être vu, déteste le premier jour d'école et rencontrer tous les nouveaux élèves de Hallow High au mois d'Halloween.

ARTHUR (fantasma)
Arthur is used to not being seen , he can wander around the human cities with his note pad and pen without a worry. That’s the good thing about being a ghost for Arthur - but it can often make the other monsters quite jealous. You see, the other monsters can be seen and so they can’t very often visit the human cities; they are only allowed to visit on the full moon, festivals and Halloween.
Arthur lives in the human city, most ghosts do, it’s much cheaper to move into an already furnished human’s house. Also, being quite the introverted species they enjoy the human company (or the lack of). It can take some getting used to being looked at and touched when ghosts living with humans head back to Hallow city - you see, monsters see ghosts just as well as each other, sometimes even clearer.
And so this is why - Arthur, so used to not being seen, hates the first day of school and meeting all the new students at Hallow High in the month of Halloween.
