1. ecosystem:
• Step 1: I looked at what video’s my subscribers look at:
Fun fairs, adventure, theater, gaming, music and theme parks
+ they search for keywords as ‘bobbejaanland’, ‘plopsaland de panne’, different theme parks.
So my video’s that are matching with these results : gaming and theme parks
• Step2: optimization
I’ll use those keywords, such as ‘bobbejaanland’ as a tag to increase viewers.
• Step 3: getting hooked, subscribed and lead them to the next video
I have now maybe 20 viewers that constantly return to watch of my 26 subscribers. At the end of my videos there are 2 videos they can chose of. It’s frequently used.
• Step 4: sharing my video on other social media
I always share the thumbnail on Instagram and the whole video on my fb account.

Max 4 videos in a week
5. Youtube funnel
• Find
I search for 30 tags for each video, so people can find my videos. I’ll also will make new thumbnails for each video.
• Hook
I’ll ask in my new videos to press the subscribe and like button, but also to leave a comment. Maybe by asking a question at the end. Now I do this by showing them wit stickers on the end of each video.
• Activate
I’ll post more in my community to engage more activity.
• Subscribers
I’ll make videos that keep them entertained and I’ll listen to their feedback.
6. Content pillars
• Primary: Theme parks and onrides
• Supporting 20: crafts
• Supporting 20:lego
• Supporting 10: gaming
But the thing is I keep having ideas for new things, like episodes of ‘what to do today?’ and ‘pools’ . But that will be just another playlist. The primary will stay the theme parks.
7. Optimisation
• Keywords
I used the tools google, vidIQ and youtube search.
For my most popular video: Bobbejaanland: revolution-onride 2021 I used these 30 tags: Belgium, bobbejaanland, roller coaster, coaster, revolution, onride, amusement park, achtbaan, attracties, pret, fun, uniek, illusion, stalen achtbaan, steel coaster, vekoma, hexogram, parabolisch, lange trein, long train, VR, mount mara, 2 of a kind, 30 wagonnen, lichtaart, bobbejaan schoepen, de kleine nete, ‘t plezantste land, gopro and 2021
• Video description
I’ll rewrite all the descriptions focusing on the following:
o Minimum 400 words: describing the video
o Using 15 to 30 keywords
o Maybe using timestamps (for a theme park and the different rides in it)
o Putting my social media below
o Putting a note to push the describe button
o Putting hashtags
• End slide and cards
On my videos at the end there is now 2 videos to click on. I’ll reduce it to 1 video and put a link to my Instagram or facebook,I’ll also use my logo again. I never used card before, but I’ll make sure to use them in the new videos.
• Thumbnails
I have thumbnails, but I found it difficult to find my style in it, so now their many different styles for the same videos. I’ll remake them all and keep this in mind:
o Maximum 2 to 5 words
o 1 big picture of an object or face
o 25 procent is words, 75 procent is images
o Using a picture of high quality
o Using the same style for 1 playlist
• Trailer
I don’t have a trailer, I used it for my new videos, so I’ll make one, to keep this in mind:
o First telling the viewers what the channel is for
o Then b rolling: filming extra footage
o Mention to describe the channel and link them to other videos
o The video should be 1 minute long
• Playlists
Mine would be, for now:
o Theme parks, but also divide them into the different theme parks with their onrides/offrides, vlogs and other things that happened in that park
o Game life
o Craft ideas
o Lego series
o Bikelife: this is a playlist for motorcycling
o Extra’s: this is a playlist for the fun things that don’t fit in the playlist now like vlogs or playing with the dog or something
• Channel strategy
Find awareness Hook (engagement) Activate (conversation) Subscribe (loyalty)
Business goals Fun journey in theme parks Build a public with interest To have a public that can see my hobbies Going to more theme parks
Content pilar Theme parks crafts gaming lego
Video type Fun and action creative action fun
cadence 2 times a week (Wednesday and sunday ) 2 times a month (the first and third of the month on Monday) 1 time a week (Friday) 2 in a month: every 2 weeks (the second and fourth) on saturday
And if I have another video that doesn’t fit in this 4 playlists, I’ll randomly upload it on a Monday as a surprise video.
Let’s get to work!
This is how my channel looks:

this is how my thumbnail look:

But now it’s time to recreate a bit ^^
3/01/2022
1) I’m making my thumbnails on canva.com for free for all my videos that are on my channel now
4/01/2022
2) Analytics of today:I’ve reached 16 more views and 693 people more then yesterday, also 1 more hour watchtime.
3) Keytages: using vidIq, youtube and google
4) Making a yt banner
5) Making a channel intro
6) Sharing my new account on fb en Instagram
7) I’m ready, now it’s waiting time!^^
This is how my channel looks now:

So all the theme park videos has the same style, but I used different colors. The colors I used or the colors from their logos.
Now every different 'playlist' has it's own style.
I want to thank you for this course, I learned a lot!^^
