Vashty Maharaj

I am a journalist. I have been in the field for over 30 years and I have expanded into communications. I also published my own community magazine for about 8 years. Because of the pandemic and the changes in mainstream journalism, I am challenging myself to expand my skills and knowledge base. I have a BSc in International Relations and an MA in Women and Development Studies. I am a passionate advocate for women's issues and for the protection of children. This course is part of my attempt to learn and explore in a wider, deeper and more meaningful way
