Easter Egg Basket

Easter is a holiday that was celebrated very recently. It's a time that excites kids, as they love going on easter egg treasure hunts, and creating arts and crafts with easter eggs. This is the reason I decided to create this illustration of a colorful easter egg basket-to capture the enthusiasm kids feel while celebrating this holiday. My illustration style is bright and colorful, which I've tried to depict in this illustration as well

I have used the Procreate app on my iPad to create this illustration

I started by creating a simple moodboard of some references I found online to help me find inspiration for the motifs I wanted to create

I then created a basic initial sketch outline on Procreate. I then looked up images of baskets and easter eggs online to get a better idea of how to portray these motifs in my final illustration.

I then went about ideating on the color pallete I wanted for my illustration and created the base color layer for my illustration

Finally, once I was happy with how my base layer looked, I went on to add the finer details, textures and highlights to make my illustration seem more appealing and lively
